A Red Arrows Recap

The Red Arrows have had an amazing and busy 2019. Not only have they put on a series of aerobatic displays, iconic flypasts and inspiring ground activities across the summer, they additionally went on a major 11-week tour of North America in August! At Air Force Gift Shop, we’re taking a moment to reflect and celebrate the skills of the team and share with you our favourite images and highlights from the past year.

Western Hawk ‘19 Tour

The tour was the biggest-ever visit by the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team to Canada and the United States and the first to North America in 11 years. With stops along the continent, the successful tour comprised of:

  • More than 20 displays

Each show demonstrated the creativity, engineering excellence and innovation behind the British RAF and Red Arrows which can be seen in the upcoming Channel Five documentary ‘Red Arrows: Take America’.
